Vintage: 2020 in Coonawarra has been characterized as a small quantity of high quality fruit.   

Oak Maturation: Maturation of select parcels for 14 -16 months in a combination of new and used French and American oak barrels, adding complexity and suppleness. 

Nose: This is a fruit forward Merlot, with hints of black fruits, briar, and spices.  

Palate: This Merlot is a generous, fruit forward wine that shows suppleness with a lovely crunchy line, the palate is medium weight with lovely length.  

Food Matching: Merlot pairs very well with Lamb and spring vegetables or try with a melody of BBQ’d spring vegetables. 

Cellaring Potential: This wine is suitable for early consumption or medium term cellaring 5+ years.
