A richly layered palate of cherry, blueberry and plum, framed by Malbec's trademark juicy palate structure and delicate, velvety tannins.
2018 was an ideal vintage in Coonawarra. Good rainfall in the lead up to harvest, followed by a warmer and drier season than usual, producing excellent Malbec fruit with rich colour and flavour.
Oak maturation was kept to a minimum of eight months in seasoned French oak barrels in order to preserve fresh flavours while adding a spicy, savoury lift.
Food Pairing Notes
