2018 was an ideal vintage in Coonawarra. Harvest started slightly earlier; good rainfall in the leadup followed by a warmer and drier season than usual, produced outstanding Chardonnay fruit exhibiting excellent varietal and regional expression.
Select parcels (13% of the total blend) were maturated in new French oak barrels for an average of 10 months, adding complexity, texture and suppleness.
