Juicy, ripe blackberry, plum and ripe, red berry fruits enhanced by subtle sweet spices and hints of dark chocolate. Creamy bubbles lead to soft tannins on the lingering finish.
Compared to recent years, Coonawarra's 2017 vintage was later than usual, with a cool growing season. Overall harvest temperatures were slightly warmer than average, producing excellent Shiraz fruit with good colour and vibrant varietal character.
