The Katnook Founders Block chardonnay is an example of why chardonnay originally became so popular. The richer colour is indicative of what the wine is about to deliver, a luscious bouquet and tropical fruit palate. And the right balance of oak which all true chardonnays should have. I first purchased the 2012 vintage some years ago and find the 2016 equal in all respects. The half bottles are convenient but most times I make sure I have a second one on ice ! Great value too.
