Coonawarra's 2015 vintage was the earliest on record. An ideal growing season of slightly above average temperatures and dry conditions produced outstanding cool climate style Shiraz fruit in excellent condition and with vibrant varietal character.
This wine was matured in a combination of older French and American oak barriques for three months.
Vibrant raspberry and blackberry with a touch of chocolate and peppery spice. Subtle vanillin oak characters with soft, lingering tannins on the finish.
Food Pairing Notes
Barbecued beef ribs, eggplant parmigiana or a juicy hamburger with the lot.
