Is there a minimum bottle order amount?

The minimum bottle order amount is 6 bottles which can be mixed. However, if you would like our flagship Odyssey or Prodigy, we are happy to send a minimum of one bottle.

Where does Katnook Estate deliver to?

Katnook Estate does its best to get its product to you no matter where you are and delivers Australia wide. This also includes PO Boxes and it is possible to arrange international shipments. Please email us to organise international deliveries, which can often be arranged through our distributors

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

Katnook Estate is committed to your satisfaction; we work very hard to ensure you receive your order as quickly as possible. We aim to send your parcel within 2 business days of payment being received.

Please include the correct delivery address details at the time of ordering. Should you enter the wrong address, freight will again be payable to dispatch to the correct address.

Delivery times are highly dependent on your location and local transport services in your local area. Our friends at Australia Post have provided the below Delivery Timetable, but these are a guide only. The lead-times are measured in business days; they do not include weekends or public holidays.

Parcel service standards – Estimates Only

When it comes to sending your parcels with Parcel Post, they aim to deliver your items within 2-5 working days. We encourage you to check with your local post office to confirm regular parcel delivery times.

Based on weight, size and destination, estimated delivery times are as follows:

Parcels within South Australia

Between 1-4 days

Parcels to all other states

Melbourne - 5 days

Sydney - 5 days

Brisbane - 6 days

Canberra - 5 days

All other capital cities- 6 days

Please add 2 business days for processing from receipt of order.

Sometimes things don’t go to plan.

Occasionally, circumstances occur which could add another day or two to these times. Once goods are dispatched we rely on Australia’s transportation networks to deliver.  

What shipping charge will apply to my order?

Your shipping charge will be automatically added at the end of your order. Our flat rate per 6 bottle case of wine is $10. However, if you are a member of our Cellar Club@Katnook, your freight is always free of charge within Australia.

Title of the product(s) supplied passes to you after we receive cleared payment for the order. We will make every effort to deliver on time. 

What does the shipping charge cover?

Shipping costs includes more than just the cost of postage. Costs include order processing and stock receiving, pick and pack, packaging materials, and finally - freight.

Postage costs vary by weight and/or cubic metre, and delivery location, however we do not pass on the whole of this cost to you, our customer.  


If you are not home for your Katnook Estate delivery, Australia Post are instructed to leave your delivery in a safe place, otherwise you will receive a note informing you where you can collect your parcel from. Australia Post will hold this item for no longer than 10 days.

Katnook Estate is committed to you, our customer, and we want you to be happy with your experience. If for any reason you are not happy, please email cellardoor@katnookestate.com.au. You will receive a phone call from our staff within 3 business days in order to find a solution to your problem.

Vintage query?

Sometimes if you request a particular vintage the item may be out of stock or sold out. In this case we will provide you with our next or current vintage.

What if I change my mind, can I get a refund?

Due to the high cost of postage, we are unfortunately not able to offer you a refund or product exchange if you change your mind about your purchase or you decide the product you ordered is no longer suitable or not to your liking.

Wine is a Delicate Commodity

Wine is a perishable commodity. Wine does not like extremes of temperature: hot humid summer and cold winter weather may adversely affect the condition of your wine during shipment. While we take care not to ship wine if extreme temperatures are forcast, Katnook is not responsible for, and will not replace wine that is damaged by extreme weather conditions during shipment. When your wine order is picked up by the common carrier for delivery, responsibility for the wine becomes the responsibility of the purchaser.

Some things can’t be helped

We reserve the right to cancel any order, at which time, we will immediately notify this action by e-mail or phone, using the e-mail address or phone number/s provided. We will refund the monies paid using the original method received. All orders are subject to availability of stock and we undertake to take reasonable steps to verify that the order and credit details are bona fide prior to processing of orders. As wine is a breakable item, occasionally there will be an accident while the wine is travelling to you – Australia Post will notify us if this happens and we will contact you within 1-2 working days. Replacement bottles will be dispatched to you again with 3  working days.
